Just perfect
Normally there should have been a small bag to put the down jacket in but it was not in the package!
I bought this FORCLAZ down jacket in mountain trekking duvet MT 500 - 10 degrees and I'm happy with it, I wore it all winter in cold periods, it keeps warm. It is light and comfortable. There are good products at Decathlon, we even recommend solutions for cleaning your down jacket. THANKS
True to size, quality trekking jacket
Bought this jacket, even though I never hike through mountains. I like to keep the temperature of the stove in my workroom low: good to keep a cool head and to keep the energy bills down. I use the jacket as a refined vest, especially for indoors. And that's a hit: you stay warm and it's light as a feather so you can move smoothly in it: in my case, often behind a desk. Recently I got caught on something, resulting in a small hole. My fault of course. I haven't yet figured out how to close such a hole (glue, stickers?): a tiny piece of tape doesn't help. I usually buy products twice that I am very enthusiastic about: I will do that with this one too.
Very good product for "urban" cold. Small downside on the choice of colors offered...

Everything great.
Easily foldable and takes up little space and is warm
I machine washed and dry it for the first time and the down filling get cloak up in lumps leaving much of the jacket surface area without any filling. Unless this issue can be resolved, it remains a single-use product.
It is very light and warm
Good little down jacket to wear under a wind and rain jacket. Otherwise take water. Lightweight and doesn't take up space...normal size.

How warm is this padded jacket?
This padded jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of -10°C during a standardised test in a thermal chamber. The model is wearing a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 5 km/h wind. We have also tested this model in static mode. Its comfort temperature is 0°C in this case.
The advantages of a duck down and feather filling
The filling power of down has 3 advantages for mountain sports: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers.- Ultra-lightweight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack.- Ultra-compressible.
How to measure the fill power of a down and feather wadding?
The fill power is a measure of the down fts thermal insulation capacity and its potential to InchtrapInch air. It is expressed in CUIN (cubic inches). So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation. For this down jacket with its 85% down and 15% feathers filling, the fill power is guaranteed to be 660 CUIN or more (international standard).
Water-repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight and warm. The fabric of this down jacket is water repellent, however, we recommend that you wear a waterproof jacket over it during prolonged exposure to the rain. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface, but this property may deteriorate with use. We recommend that you restore it after each wash.
How to care for a down jacket?
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. But the less you wash it, the more it will retain its thermal insulation and water repellency.Our advice: 1/Machine wash with a detergent suitable for down or technical garments, at 30°, with 2 or 3 tennis balls. Gentle spin cycle. 2/ tumble dry with 2 or 3 tennis balls, and repeat 2 or 3 times until it is completely dry.
A snag? this is how to repair your down jacket
A tear on a padded jacket can happen when trekking! The good news is that it can be repaired with a repair patch to prevent the tear from getting bigger or feathers from escaping. Don't you feel at ease carrying out this repair yourself? Don't worry! Some Decathlon workshops offer an in-store repair service to mend your padded jacket using a heat-bonded patch.
How to restore the water-repellent properties?
Once you have cleaned your padded jacket, we recommend you use a water-repellent reactivator spray to preserve the hydrophobic properties of the outer fabric. This renews the fabric’s water repellent properties and optimises its performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.
